RadioShack Robbed

Police are responding to an apparent armed robbery at the RadioShack at 110 Montague St.  Initial reports are that two males wearing UPS uniforms robbed the store at gunpoint and fled in a delivery van.

Brooklyn Bridge On-Ramp Closures, Manhattan Side

Brooklyn Heights’ Brad Smith “Do-Gooder” Finalist

Willowtown resident Brad Smith has been chosen a finalist in the community development category of the “Brooklyn Do-Gooders” campaign, sponsored by the Brooklyn Community Foundation. Smith is recognized for his work as a Big Apple Greeter, in which he gives tourists free guided tours of Brooklyn neighborhoods. As the BCF website notes:
