Medical Emergency at Heights Cafe

A fire truck and two ambulances are parked on Montague Street outside the Heights Cafe, at the corner of Hicks Street. Inside the Cafe’s dining room, as of a few minutes ago, EMTs were performing CPR on a person lying on the floor.

The Tree is Up

After an aborted attempt to set it up in gale force winds a few days ago, a Parks Department crew successfully installed the Heights Christmas tree next to the Menorah at the Montague Street entrance to the Promenade this morning. The tree lighting will take place this Wednesday evening at 5:30.
