Earlier this week, Henry Street’s Siggy’s Good Food closed its doors forever. As previously reported, the health food establishment – where “aliens ate free” – announced it would be shutting down at the end of February.

Siggy’s Gets Sidewalk Cafe Approval.. For Now
This NYC DCA notice posted in the window of Siggy’s Good Food on Henry Street proclaims the eatery is good to go with its sidewalk seating until at least May 1. The restaurant shut down unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago presumably over this issue.
Siggy’s in Brooklyn Heights Closed Until 2/22
Siggy’s Good Food at 76 Henry Street will be closed until February 22. A sign in the restaurant’s window blames the closing on “unexpected reasons.” The restaurant’s health inspection report does not indicate any major issues that would cause a shut down.
