Hurricane #Irene – A Tree Falls in Brooklyn
The American elm at the Mansion House [145-153 Hicks Street] has come down in the middle of the street, smashing a brick wall at the apartment building, and breaking a window at the house across the street. Fortunately, nobody was parked underneath. We remember the tree and the controversy it caused here.
