The trash is on fire in front of Packer on Joralemon Street right now… At around 8:10pm a fire truck arrived. It looked like the cardboard recycling pile caught fire. As I type the fire department is putting it out. If anyone has any more info, let us know or comment!

A fire on the basement and first floors at around 174 Atlantic Ave forced a shutdown of the street between Court and Clinton. According to the FDNY, the fire is now extinguished and there were no fatalities.

A vehicle afire on the BQE below the foot of Pierrepont street at about 2 P.M. sent smoke drifting over the Promenade and into the central Heights. More details when available.
