Marc Hermann is a Brooklyn Heights native who works as a photographer and photo editor for the New York Daily News. Starting out as a teenager who would chase the local fire companies to emergency scenes, Marc's first news photos appeared in the Packer Collegiate Institute's school paper, before he made the jump to the Brooklyn Paper, Brooklyn Eagle, and, finally, the Daily News. "weegee" is a tribute to the moniker of legendary New York press photographer Arthur Fellig,
