Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This Labor Day weekend there will be no service in either direction at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech from 10:45 P.M. Friday, August 30 to 5:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 3, as N and R trains will be re-routed over the Manhattan Bridge. This will continue on late nights (10:45 P.M. to 5:00 A.M.) the following work week (Tuesday, September 3 to Friday, September 6).

On these same Tuesday to Friday work week nights, from 9:30 P.M. to 5:00 A.M., there will be no 3 train service, though 2 train service should (we stress SHOULD) be running normally. For those traveling to or from 3 train stops in Brooklyn, 4 trains will provide alternative service. Also on these work week nights, from 11:45 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. there will be no service in either direction at High Street, as A trains will be re-routed over the F line between Jay Street and West 4th Street, and C trains do not serve Brooklyn late at night.

These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions.
