Bargemusic’s weekend begins Friday evening, May 24 at 7:00 with a performance of works by J.S. Bach, Scott Ordway, and Gaspar Cassado, by the cellist Julian Schwarz (photo).
On Saturday evening, May 25 at 6:00, and again on Sunday afternoon, May 26 at 4:00, members of the Semplice Players, along with guest violinist Mark Peskanov, will perform two string quartets; one by Mozart and one by Beethoven.
On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
