Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend, from 11:30 p.m. Friday, May 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, May 27 2 trains will originate and terminate at Chambers Street in Manhattan, while 3 trains will not be running, so there will be no service in either direction at Clark Street, or at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall. 4. 5 and R trains (5 trains will serve Brooklyn this weekend) will provide alternative service. From 5:00 a.m. Monday (Memorial Day) until 5:00 a.m Tuesday, May 28 and from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on the nights of Tuesday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Thursday, and Thursday to Friday, May 28 to 31, 3 trains will originate and terminate at Times Square, but 2 trains should be running normally. During these same late night periods Monday to Friday there will be no A train service between Jay Street-MetroTech and Utica Avenue; shuttle buses will provide alternative service. There are no other scheduled (as always we stress “scheduled”) service changes directly affecting service at any local stations this Memorial Day weekend and following work week.
