I find it hard tobelieve that Brooklyn Heights residents have nothing to complain about here after 11 hours. LOL

Just another perfect day in paradise.

So what is up with Le Pain Quotidien? They took down their name from the storefront and they also removed their awnings and put them up backwards so no one can see what was written on them? I walked in and asked an employee and they had no clue as to why these things were done.

I was so happy when they came to the neighborhood, and what a disappointment they’ve been. They have little flies all over the baked goods in the window and hovering around the tables; I got a muffin there once that was really moldy; and a friend and I both became ill after being there recently. The service is also generally fairly surly. Super disappointing.

On another note (sorry for double-post): has anyone else tried Dr. Thomson in the vet office at Cranberry and Hicks? Would love to hear about experiences before bringing my pets there.

The sun is out and it lifts the mood..don’t feel like complaining today.

Another underwhelming, overpriced chain. Why-oh why-oh can’t we get a decent restaurant on Montague?

Their takeout vs. sit-down ordering distinction confused me. Both times that I thought I might buy food there, I walked out a minute later with nothing.

You know what would be nice in the old Starbucks space? A Bierkraft like place – a beer bottle shop with tasting area – or a pinball-machine bar.

Perhaps they’re trying to fool the taxman…

I saw a tenant being moved into one of the apartments above the Sleepy’s on Montague. When did the building start renting, and is there a website for the landlord or agents?

I need to crowd source some monthly parking recommendations, preferably indoors. The car is a Subaru Forrester.

Two paws up for Dr Thomson. She’s very kind and professional.

Thanks, Diesel. Bebe wants to know how you’re doing finding a home for her.
