Key Endorsements For Steve Levin In Race For 33rd City Council District

NYC Councilmember Stephen Levin will hold a press conference Tuesday (8/27) at City Hall to announce several key endorsements.

Fellow City Council members Jumaane Williams, Brad Lander, and Melissa Mark-Viverito (who are also part of the Progressive Caucus) will back the D33 incumbent.

Last week, Levin’s opponent in the Democratic primary, Stephen Pierson announced endorsements from Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, Democratic State Committeewoman Jo Anne Simon and New Kings Democrats President Alex Low.

    That is impressive..Is it true that Mr. Pierson is a former professional poker player and that he paid $15,396 to settle a state warrant for taxes last December? If so that is very troubling. Did those that endorsed him know this?
