Oddly, walking across the Bridge this afternoon, I saw traffic going in both directions, with both roadways in use.

Traffic resumed in both directions at noon on Sunday.

I will repeat to myself five times every day: “12:00 a.m. is midnight; 12:00 p.m. is noon.”

I think that’s why the MTA always starts their work at 12:01 and ends it at 11:59; so there’s no confusion between noon and midnight. I frequently get that mixed up too.
