Axe Falls for 100 at LICH; More Layoffs May Follow.

Cobble Hill Beer-a-palooza

Report: Urban Outfitters Coming

Racked reports that Urban Outfitters has signed a lease at 164 Atlantic Avenue. The store will occupy the first floor and basement of the property creating a 9,900 square foot outlet. The building was renovated and converted to apartments and retail units last year by Two Trees Management.  Google Streetview image

BookCourt to Expand.

BookCourt, the family-owned bookstore at 163 Court Street in Cobble Hill, is bucking the trend of smaller, locally owned booksellers being forced out of business by megastores like Barnes & Noble and Borders.  The owners have announced that it will expand into adjacent space they now own, which will double the area of the store.  […]
