Yeah, That might not work, I have hundreds…

  • High Street Blues

We’re in the same exact boat!

According to the permits, and the person I spoke to in the real estate office, they’re replacing the roof, and repointing. Not adding more floors.

Before the BQE, the only way to get to Rockaway and southern Brooklyn was on city streets. There were signs on Henry near the Brooklyn Bridge also pointing the way south.

There seems to be something going on the former Mattress Firm location on Montague street between Lassen & Hennings and Saketumi. Do you know if they are going to open a new business?

  • Cranberry Beret

The golf simulator place is moving from Clinton St to this location on Montague

  • Jorale-man

Oh joy, it’s that time of year again, when the Packard Institute stages raucous outdoor kiddie concerts, blocking all of Livingston Street (and its sidewalks) and “entertaining” neighbors from blocks away (and get off my lawn, you kids!).

  • Mini_Cooper

The east side of Clinton is outside the historic district

  • Cranberry Beret

    We’re talking about Henry St

  • Red Leader

The Montague BID is on fire these days!

  • Red Leader

Can we talk about how they’re both booting AND towing on Hicks St. at the end of every month. It doesn’t seem quite right that we’re being penalized twice for one offense.

  • MaggieO

it sucks. guess they gotta make that quota…

NBC news just announced that Brooklyn BQE work will be delayed till 2028.

    “Packard”? Pesky auto-correct?

  • Bossert Update

    Bossert hotel is in play

“BP Holdings Goldenrod LLC, a shell corporation with the same address in property records as Beach Point Capital Management, bought the nonperforming note, placing it in the driver’s seat to decide the hotel’s fate, although the firm’s plans for the asset aren’t clear”

Mary Frost, would be great if you could get to the bottom of their plans!

Now is the time for the BHA and Restler to get on top of this.

For once, I’d love to hear this type of news from them directly because they were tracking it vs. reacting to the news.

Why is the Manhattan Bridge so visible at the end of Montague??

  • Banet

Bring 10 a day. By July 4th you’ll be done. The walk will do you good. :-)

  • Banet

That’s not Montague. You’re looking north up Henry.

  • Jorale-man

    Exactly. Eh, close enough…

  • Devon

Does anyone know what is going on with the mulching truck at the corner of Clark and Henry? Or why it has been running none stop for the last couple days?

PSA – If you’re parked on Aitken Place right now, there are now No Parking signs up on the street for tomorrow (Saturday 5/11) starting I think at 6am? for a “school carnival”. They’re not official NYPD signs, they appeared on Wednesday or Thursday.

  • Red Leader

True but I’m surprised more people aren’t upset about it. Does the city do this in any other neighborhood? One has to wonder.

  • Sweeties

I heard that the plans for the squash/racket ball courts at the old Eastern Athletic spot in the St. George Tower fell through. Anyone any the wiser?

  • Guest

Emily still works in the neighborhood! She’s currently at the salon in the Saint George subway station

  • Red Leader

Oh that’s too bad if true.

  • TVC15

Yup… prospective tenant pulled out after signing a 25-year lease. It’s a huge mess. Co-op shareholders are seemingly going to war with the board.

  • MaggieO

Yes, they’ve been doing it more in the east village as well
