This Saturday, May 11 is Global Big Day and the spring World Migratory Bird Day (there will be another, when they’re heading south, on October 12), so Heather Wolf, author of Find More Birds and Birding at the Bridge, will lead a bird walk in Brooklyn Bridge Park in which “[w]e’ll be looking and/or listening for migrating songbirds and breeding birds.” The walk begins at Pier 1, Brooklyn Bridge Park, next to Bargemusic, at 4:00 PM and will end at 5:30 PM. It’s free, but you must reserve a ticket in advance. There’s more information and you may reserve tickets here.
