Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Sandy repair work on the A/C tunnel resumes this weekend, and is slated to continue through all weekends during March. From 11:45 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, March 3) to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 6, A and C trains will run on the F line in both directions between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street. This means no service at High Street. As options, use the York Street station down the hill (or up if you’re returning from Manhattan) in DUMBO, or the 2/3 to or from Clark Street, or the R/N to or from Court Street, which the MTA now advises us is running again following today’s water main break.

The following work week–Monday, March 6 to Friday, March 10–there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations. For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
