Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This coming Saturday, June 14, is Flag Day, and it’s a green flag weekend for local subway riders, as there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips that directly affect service at any local stations.

Late nights the following week, between the hours of 11:45 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., Monday, June 16 to Friday, June 20, Brooklyn bound F trains will be diverted to the A line between West 4th street in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech. This means no service from Manhattan to York Street in DUMBO. Use High Street as an option, and walk downhill. To get to Brooklyn from the Lower East Side stops on the F, take an uptown F to West 4th and change to a Brooklyn bound A or F there. During the same late night hours Monday to Friday, there will be no 3 trains running in either direction. 2 trains will be running normally during this time, so there will be service at Clark Street and at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
