WABC TV: Police now confirm Ronald Swindell was just released from prison two weeks ago. In total, he’s served 18 years behind bars, four separate terms, for burglary and attempted burglary.

While Swindell prepares for a future that may hold another stretch of ‘3 hots and a cot’, are Brooklyn Heights residents feeling less safe?

WABC TV: And most neighbors Eyewitness News talked with didn’t seem overly concerned about the burglaries.

“I don’t think this made my neighborhood an unsafe neighborhood,” said Harry Kaplan, a Brooklyn Heights resident.

Elena Mehas just bought a new apartment down there.

“Yeah a little bit of concern, but at the same time, you know, it’s New York. I mean, I think it happens everywhere,” Mehas said.

    Two points
    1. His last name is Swindell – how appropriate.
    2. He’s clearly not good at this.

I just Googled Kerri Russell and it was announced just recently that she and her husband of 7 years have split.
So if it is reported that she is living in BH, then she must have recently moved from her old neighborhood. I saw her on the Promenade about a year ago.
