DeBlasio isnt taking care of ANYONE other than himself. He is a sham artist who had a strategist tell him he had to grab the Obama divide and conquer strategy in order to rise above Quinn. We have had the best years of our lives in this City since the mid-90s.

Heavy traffic through Heights streets late nights this weekend?

    Brooklyn
Brooklyn Queens Expressway northbound/eastbound between Hamilton Avenue and Tillary Street
The northbound Brooklyn Queens Expressway will be closed at Cadman Plaza West during limited overnight hours of 1 am to 6 am Saturday September 7, 2 am to 7 am Sunday September 8th, and 12:01 am to 4 am Monday September 9th, 2013. Motorists proceeding toward Queens should plan alternate routes or follow posted detours at the Atlantic Avenue exit, and consider the Brooklyn Battery/Hugh L. Carey Tunnel (toll facility) for best access to Manhattan. Additionally the Hamilton Avenue entrances to northbound BQE and the Atlantic Avenue entrance to northbound BQE will be closed during hours noted above. Motorists should follow posted detours. These closures are required to facilitate NYCDOT work associated with the Brooklyn Bridge.

I haven’t met many people who live a decent life in BH to be considered “working class”. Isn’t the average rent somewhere near $3,000 for a one bedroom apartment?

  • Remsen Street Dweller

Yes, we’re the ones that are supposed to care about other people that can’t afford those kind of rents in this city/country/world. I don’t think what I said was so complicated.

What are the candidates positions on services for seniors in Brooklyn Heights which are poor and lacking ?? No one seems to be addressing this issue.
