Notification issued 7/19/13 at 3:00 PM. As part of the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) project to rehabilitate the Brooklyn Bridge ramps and approaches, a full weekend closure of the Manhattan-bound lanes of the bridge will be required this weekend, from 11:59 PM tonight, 7/19, until 6:00 AM Monday, 7/22. During this 54-hour closure, all Manhattan-bound traffic will be redirected to alternate crossings, including the Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge and the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel, an MTA-tolled facility.
