Breaking News: While details, date and venue still need to be determined the candidates for the NYS Senate Seat representing the 25th District have agreed to participate in a Brooklyn Heights Blog sponsored debate.
Yesterday we learned that Citizen’s Union, sponsors of Connor-Squadron debates, would not do the same for the Chromzak-Squadron contest. As in past elections in local politics, the Democratic primary is generally viewed as the general election. While that’s a fairly realistic view of the situation, it is BHB’s position that a healthy and viable selection process must exist in elections for all levels of government. Since two neophytes are running against each other in this contest, it seemed like the best place to start.
