It’s almost déjà vu all over again. Just like last weekend, the only train serving local stations that has a diversion directly affecting service here is the F. But this weekend, vive la difference, it’s the Brooklyn-bound F that’s being diverted to the A/C tracks between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech. This means no Brooklyn-bound service at York Street, so to get to DUMBO from Manhattan either take the short hike from the High Street A/C station, or ride a Brooklyn-bound A, C, or F to Jay Street and change for a Manhattan-bound F there to take you back to York. To get to Brooklyn from the Lower East Side stations served by the F–West Broadway, Delancey, 2nd Avenue, or Broadway-Lafayette–take an F from there to West 4th, and change there for a Brooklyn-bound A, C, or F. If you’re taking the A or C into Manhattan, be aware that these trains will be skipping the Spring, 23rd, and 50th Street stations. To get to these stations, either ride to the next stop above the skipped station and catch a Brooklyn-bound train back, or take a 2, 3, or R train to a nearby station.
