Promenade Tree Lighting Set for Wednesday, December 15

Further to my “Holiday Lights” post, the tree lighting ceremony for the Montague Street entrance to the Promenade has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, at 5:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Brooklyn Heights Garden Club, and will include an appearance by Santa Claus. More details to be provided as they become available.

The Tree is Up

After an aborted attempt to set it up in gale force winds a few days ago, a Parks Department crew successfully installed the Heights Christmas tree next to the Menorah at the Montague Street entrance to the Promenade this morning. The tree lighting will take place this Wednesday evening at 5:30.
