Mint Heights Closed by Health Department

Restaurants along Henry Street have been getting attention from the Health Department’s inspectors. In February they shut down Kogane Ramen. The latest to fail inspection is Mint Heights, at 46 Henry; sadly, a longtime favorite of my wife’s (she loves their Butter Chicken) and mine for Indian cuisine. The bill of particulars is here. Thanks to reader “Cranberry Beret” for the tip.

Service is quite uneven. They don’t understand orders very well. Vegan aloo gobi delivered with butter at times and other times not….

I don’t think they were closed due to service issues!

That’s a shame. We’ve ordered takeout several times and the food (and portion size) were terrific. Hope it opens again soon.
