    Arch, you are so right. My father’s stamp collection, passed on from the generations, has lost much of its value. I thought it would be worth millions when I retired. Who would have guessed.

    People buy/sell trains to run them, though the average age of collectors is getting up there.

    This is a hobby which is eventually going away, like so many others, sigh.

    I see this every year, and it’s so maddening!

    I was accepted there in 1972 and they made it ridiculously expensive for me to attend. They wanted my parents to hire an additional person to chaperone me from class to class, and consequently I went to a different school. The way kids with disabilities are treated in both public and private schools is atrocious…
