Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend — late night Friday, May 19 to early morning Monday, May 22 — there will be no service at High Street, as A and C trains will be re-routed to the F line in both directions between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street-Washington Square. There will be no late night R service in either direction at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street. There will also be no late night Brooklyn bound N service at these stations, although it seems there will be Manhattan bound service. I’m not counting on it. 2, 3, and 4 trains (5 trains don’t serve Brooklyn on weekends; 3 trains don’t serve Brooklyn late nights) should be running normally.

The following work week — Monday morning, May 22 to Friday evening, May 26 — the only planned service change affecting local stations is that late nights Monday to Tuesday and Tuesday to Wednesday there will be no Brooklyn bound service at York Street, but extra Brooklyn bound service at High Street, as Brooklyn bound F trains will be re-routed to the A/C line.

Always check MTA Info for last minute changes in planned service or unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
