This morning, at about 2:30, my wife, Martha Foley, was awakened by a series of small explosions outside. She went to a window that looks down at the intersection of Montague Street, Montague Terrace, and Pierrepont Place, just before the entrance to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and got the photo above of a Roman candle like device going off.
She was also able to get a photo of the people who were setting off the fireworks.

This trio just gave Brooklyn Heights a big third finger. It wasn’t done for fun, not at 2:30AM.
Nice work on snapping the photo. A shame that people would get their jollies from this sort of thing.
