From the BHB Inbox comes word that the Brooklyn Heights Association Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats and Independent Neighborhood Democrats will be hosting a debate between candidates for the 33rd City Council District seat being vacated (unless it’s not) by David Yassky who is running for NYC comptroller. From the Brooklyn Heights Association newsletter:
City Council Candidates Debate: We invite you all to attend a debate of the candidates for the 33rd City Council District this coming Monday evening, April 20th, from 7 to 9 PM at St. Francis College. All of the candidates will be attending. The election may seem far off but now is the right time to become better informed about the people who seek to represent Brooklyn Heights in the City Council.
