Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

From 11:45 PM Friday, July 14 to 5:00 AM Monday, July 17 there will be no service in either direction at High Street, as A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street and Jay Street-Metro Tech. There will also be no 2 or 3 service at Clark Street or Borough Hall, so your options are to use the 4 or 5 to or from Borough Hall (the 5 will serve Brooklyn on weekends when there is no 2 or 3 service, which should be until sometime in 2018), the R or (late night) N to or from Court Street, or the A, C, or F to or from Jay Street or York Street. For those traveling into Brooklyn, the 4 and 5 will make all 2 or 3 stops.

The following work week (Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21) there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations, except that C train service will be ending at 10:00 PM.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.

But how will all the tourists intent on walking across the Brooklyn Bridge while disregarding the Heights (or the ones clogging Henry en route to Grimaldi’s, while also avoiding BH) get from point A to B?
