    Absolutely correct.

In no way, however, does this mean that the changes and solutions he offered were the best ones, or even appropriate ones, but as I’ve been saying, if we want politicians to present well-researched, maximally beneficial solutions to our problems, we need to do at least one of several things: implement standards for who is permitted to seek public office, implement standards for what statements they are permitted to make while seeking that office, and prohibit them from soliciting campaign financing from any entity or organization that might directly benefit from their election.

Donald Trump’s idiotic and boorish campaign platforms, in the form of his upcoming PRESIDENCY, are a product of democracy (and its need to cater to the lowest common denominator of thought), not of some pocket of American racism or even blue collar disenfranchisement.

What solution? He offered none that I ever heard, and I was listening closely. The only change promised is the mora dereliction of the man in the Oval Office.l

To clarify: I meant he convinced the people who voted for him he had a solution. I didn’t mean he actually had one.

Unfortunately, thanks in part to the Electoral College, the rubes, neo-nazis and Confederate flag wavers, Trump squeaked by in a few battleground states. Nationwide, 3 million more voters went the way of New Yorkers.

Racism was not made prominent by the media; it was made prominent and encouraged by Trump at his rallies.

Spoken like a true disciple of The Donald who has no trouble overlooking his incredible life long record of cheating, swindling, stealing and lying. Any questionable behavior of Hillary pales in comparison.
