Bargemusic starts an all piano weekend early this week, with a concert tomorrow (Thursday, November 10) evening at 8:00 featuring pianist Andreas Foivos Apostolou playing works by Rameau, Mendelssohn, Carl Vine, and by himself. On Friday evening, November 11 at 8:00, Mr. Apostolou returns to play works by Schubert, Rameau, himself, and Dutilleux. On Saturday evening, November 12 at 8:00, pianist Vinia Tsopela (photo) will play works by Manos Hadjidakis, Schubert/Liszt, Liszt, Chopin, and de Falla. On Sunday afternoon, November 13 at 4:00, Mr. Apostolou and Ms. Tsopela will join to play works by Rachmaninoff, Ligeti, Rossini, Barber, and Schubert. Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
