Continuing post-Sandy work brings another weekend of heavy disruption. From 11:45 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, September 9) to 5:00 a.m. Monday, September 12 there will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall, as 4 trains will terminate and originate at Bowling Green in Manhattan, and 5 trains do not serve Brooklyn on weekends. During the same time period, A and C trains running in both directions will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street, so there will be no service in either direction at High Street. For service to or from Manhattan, use the 2 or 3 to or from Clark Street or Borough Hall, the R or (late night) N to or from Court Street, or the A or C to or from York Street or Jay Street-Metro Tech.
The following work week (Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16) each night from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. there will be no G train service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue. Shuttle buses, A and F trains will provide alternate service. Note that F trains will be running express between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
