I had no idea you had hands-on experience. I totally defer to your real-world experience over my conjecture.

It’s the French frigate Languedoc. It’s probably here for a few days while the crew enjoys liberty. If you want to brush up on your French, you may have the opportunity at the bars along Atlantic Avenue over the weekend. I don’t know of any plans to open the ship to visitors.

Thanks, but you are correct in your observation, the crew (management included) renovating the Bossert doesn’t appear to be very together, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens…

I know it’s too early for an irascible “Open Threat” Thursday post, but would the Brooklyn Banksy who’s been grafittiing the garbage on Clinton Street with a more-or-less-well sharpied twin-lens reflex camera and the coy commentary “Who Shot Who” please stop?
    It’s too clever for me.

    1. It’s not me
    2. Suppose this person reads the Blog?
    3. As a sidenote it’s my contention that Banksy is an organization, not an individual
