Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

“Fix & Fortify” post-Sandy repair work resumes in the A/C line’s East River tunnel this weekend. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, July 8 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, A and C trains running in both directions will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street, so there will be no service in either direction at High Street. For A/C stops in Manhattan below West 4th Street, use the 2 or 3 to or from Clark Street as an option. During the same time period this weekend there will be no G train service in either direction between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue. A and F trains provide alternative service. During this same period G trains will run every 20 minutes between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues. This same G train service change will be in effect late nights the following work week–Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15–from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night. Also the following week, each night from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. there will be no service in either direction at High Street because A trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 34th Street, and C train service will end early.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
