Tomorrow (Friday, July 8) evening at 8:00 violinist Gregory Fulkerson (photo) will begin a series of performances that will present the complete solo violin sonatas and partitas of J.S. Bach, as well as works by other composers. This week’s performance will include works by Bach, Glass, and Bartok. On Saturday evening, July 9 at 8:00 and on Sunday afternoon, July 10 at 4:00 Mark Peskanov on violin and Nina Kogan on piano will begin another series of concerts, these presenting all of Beethoven’s sonatas for violin and piano. Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
