Continuing post-Sandy work brings a weekend of heavy disruption. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, May 13 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, May 16 there will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall, as 4 trains will terminate and originate at Bowling Green in Manhattan, and 5 trains do not serve Brooklyn on weekends During the same time period, A and C trains running in both directions will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street, so there will be no service in either direction at High Street. For service to or from Manhattan, use the 2 or 3 to or from Clark Street or Borough Hall, the R or (late night) N to or from Court Street, or the A or C to or from York Street or Jay Street-Metro Tech. From 11:15 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday there will be no G train service in either direction between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue, but A and F trains will provide alternative service. This will remain in effect late nights (11:15 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) the following week; Monday, May 16 to Friday, May 20, but during these same hours the same nights F trains will run express in both directions, and free shuttle buses will provide alternative service to all local stops.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
