This has the potential to ruin Hallowe’en for a lot of kids. Hope these production people appreciate that it’s a special day and act accordingly.

Well there’s a series of ways to prevent
Him from doing any of this…just ask my
Boyfriend and some of his associates…

Welcome to “Open Threat Thursday”, everyone!

I sincerely hope they have candy for all of the kids – and aren’t jerks about walking through – we can only control little ones on their way to get candy so much and really shouldn’t have to – it’s a kid’s holiday!

Orange off Henry – this is nuts!

Their scouts didn’t do their research! I will happily send my kids down those blocks. Remember folks, their crew cannot keep you from walking down the street. You have zero obligation to listen to them.

Here is link to complain…everyone should do so, i have and had also complained about them shooting on Yom kippur, of course they didn’t respond to that…i just don’t understand how a film company can film till 11pm on our streets?

  • MonroeOrange

cindy, please tell us…or you have nothing to add…

  • cindy sm

Well first of all you’ll need an item
Long A) outlawed in this country and
    B) so un PC that none of you would
Ever own one..no not that gov Cuomo
    It’s a hemi road runner or a 454 vette.
Now just drop the muffler and drive
Around in the area…thats what my brother just texted me..

by the way, in a LOT of communities
film types have been FORCED to meet community standards. Of course if you just want to complain and do nothing…

  • cindy sm

Film types need quiet, clear back
Grounds and the city Govt types
Who welcome them over you backs need political and legal peace.

  • cindy sm

Non a hemi or a 454 vette is a better (sic)
    Route…

  • miriamcb

Thanks for the link. I also don’t understand the (un)planning that seems to be happening here.

  • cindy sm

I was being semi humorous but there.
ARE effective, legal ways to limit film
    Types damage to communities. We’ll
    Written flyers properly distributed
Puts “creative” types on notice. Forcing
Elective officials to take hard Positions
On what is and isn’t acceptable. But
If you just want to whine…

  • MiniCooper

Let him film his garbage in his own neighborhood (if he has one).

  • MonroeOrange

yes, i often wish i had an air horn…would blow it everytime they yell action…or more humorous if anyone’s window is in the shot, they should moon the scene the whole time…sure to show up on film!

I couple of weeks ago they were filming a tom hanks movie on pineapple, they asked me to walk 3 blocks out of my way to get to my house. Normally I would have just shrugged it off , but I had 3 bags of groceries. They wouldn’t let me by and said don’t you know who tom hanks is. I said yes , where does he live im going to shoot a video in front of his house. Needless to say I did walk around , thanks for this info , next time I will just tell them I am going through or they can get one of the 75 idiots standing around to carry my groceries to my house.
