Once again this weekend, Friday evening September 12 to Monday morning September 15, there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations. If you’re traveling into Brooklyn, though, be aware that 2, 3, and 4 trains going in that direction won’t be stopping at Bergen Street, Grand Army Plaza, or Eastern Parkway. To get to these stations, you’ll need to ride to Franklin Avenue and catch a Manhattan bound train back to the skipped station.
The following week (Monday, September 15 to Friday, September 19) from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly, Brooklyn bound F trains will be diverted to the A line between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech. This means no service during these hours from Manhattan to York Street in DUMBO. Either get off at High Street and walk down the hill, or ride to Jay and catch a Manhattan bound F back to York. To get to Brooklyn from the LES stops on the F, take an uptown F to West 4th and catch a Brooklyn bound F or A there. During these same late night/early morning hours Monday to Friday, there will be no 3 trains running in either direction; however, 2 trains will be running normally, so there will be service in both directions at Clark Street and at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall; also, Brooklyn bound 2 and 4 trains will again be skipping Bergen Street, Grand Army Plaza, and Eastern Parkway.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
