From this Friday, August 22 at 11:45 p.m. to Monday, August 25 at 5:00 a.m. Manhattan-bound A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn and West 4th Street in Manhattan. This means no service to Manhattan from High Street this weekend, though there will be service from Manhattan to High Street. To get to Manhattan from the North Heights you can walk down the hill to the York Street station in DUMBO and take an A, C, or F, or take a 2 or 3 from Clark Street.
The following week, each night from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, Brooklyn-bound A trains (there is no C train service late at night) will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech. This means no service from Manhattan to High Street during these hours, though there will be service from High Street to Manhattan. To get to High Street from Manhattan you can take an A or F train to Jay Street and change for a Manhattan bound A or C back to High Street.
