Spring’s Poppin’ at Sociale and All Along Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights

While yesterday’s rain wasn’t great, the weather on Monday saw folks heading outside to catch some rays. Outdoor seating at Henry Street’s Sociale was loading up to capacity. Coupled with the new lease on life at the Brooklyn Heights Cinema, a new addition to Jack the Horse (raw bar?) as well as mainstays Noodle Pudding, Henry’s End, Siggy’s, Bevacco, Henry Street Ale House and (relative) new comer the Brooklyn Heights Wine Bar – the North Heights looks like it’s in for one heckuva season.

I am not liking Bklyn Heights much anymore. Friday morning, drunken vomit across Henry. Saturday morning, prostitute hanging outside the A train entrance 5am, additional drunk girl spilling out of taxi cab and stumbling home. Saturday night you couldn’t move through the streets with all the tourists, bikes, tour buses, and just hordes of people. It is too developed and not the pleasant oasis I moved to 25 years ago. And it’ll get worse with all the new high rises coming in. Such a disappointment.

that is one reason we do not need a massive high rise as part of the library destruction project. refurbish the library like the OEM(former red cross building) and school that replaced the old family court building. Sell Library Bonds to do it.. Its a win-win

Homer, you refer to last night’s rain but did you notice that it had changed to ice and snow this morning?

Why, this reads just like a post you did on the Wednesday Open Thread. Any other threads you want to post this on, to further annoy people?
