There will be a few subway disruptions this Easter/Passover weekend. There will be no 4 trains running in either direction from 3:30 a.m. Saturday to 10:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19-20. However, 5 trains, which don’t normally serve Brooklyn on weekends, will be running to and from Brooklyn during these hours. So, if you’re returning from Manhattan on Saturday or Sunday, don’t hesitate to take a 5. It will get you here. From 11:30 p.m.tonight (Friday, April 18) to 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, there will be no C trains running between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Euclid Avenue in Brooklyn; consequently, there will only be A train service at High Street during this time. Also, during the same period, A trains will not run in either direction between Jay Street and Utica Avenue. Shuttle buses will provide alternate service between these stations. This will continue late nights the following week, from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22 to Friday, April 25. For one late night only, from 11:45 p.m. Monday, April 21 to 5:00 a.m.Tuesday, April 22, Manhattan bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay street and West 4th. To get to west 4th or stops on the A above there in Manhattan, take the A from Jay or from York Street in DUMBO. To get to A train stops in lower Manhattan, take the 2 or 3 from Clark Street to nearby stops. There are no other planned service changes affecting service at local stations this weekend or the week after.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
