Damn. I’ll be out of town

I go every year, and some houses are memorable. I remember the house with the 2-story library with glass walkways on the second floor, and the special porch where the cat can sun itself. Also, the place on Willow with the goldfish-filled cistern in the backyard. If you haven’t gone on any of these, it’s great to see what you can do with a house if you’ve got a few hundred thousand—or million—to spend on decorating it.

Last year’s Tour cost me a lot, because after I got back from it, I ended up getting some new furniture.

I always plan to be in town for it — it’s always the day before Mother’s Day.
