BHA Social Hosts Comedy Night at Brooklyn Heights Cinema Wednesday

The Brooklyn Heights Association will present its next “BHA Social” event this coming Wednesday evening, February 19, at the Brooklyn Heights Cinema: a Comedy Night emcee’d by Heights resident Shelly Colman, and featuring comedians Missy Baker, David Finklestein, Dean Masello and Aalap Patel. Come at 8:30 to enjoy some wine or soft drinks and socialize with your neighbors and BHA representatives; the show starts at 9:00. Tickets are $5.00. There’s more information here.

    Sarcasm there from BB, but I’ve been to a couple of the regular comedy nights, and they’re edgier than you might expect for the neighborhood. (If you close your eyes you can—with only a slight effort at suspended disbelief—pretend you are in Manhattan, and below 14th Street!)
