Hostages, Person Of Interest All Filming In Brooklyn Heights This Week

Two super-awesome CBS dramas are filming in Brooklyn Heights this week. And while our humble publisher is hoping to catch a glimpse of Person of Interest star Taraji P. Henson, we reckon most folks are just trying to figure out if their car will be towed due to filming.

Thankfully, the BHA’s Judy Stanton sent us this dispatch today:

Watch out! Every day this week there will be at least one film shoot somewhere in the Heights. Not all of them will involve towing but two Warner Bros TV show productions with budgets for towing will be relocating any cars parked in their way.

Below you’ll find the detail for TV show “Person of Interest” coming on Thursday, Nov. 21. Note the list of streets from which cars parked in the way will be towed.

On Wednesday, “Hostages” will return to film on Hicks betw. Pierrepont and Clark Streets and at Borough Hall and they WILL TOW cars parked in the way on the following blocks: Cadman Plaza West betw. Clark and Middagh Streets, Montague bet. Clinton and Henry Streets, Hicks bet Clark and Pierrepont Streets, Remsen bet Court and Clinton Streets, and maybe Pierrepont between Henry and Hicks Streets.

so it seems after years of complaining about film shoots, nothing gets done. Why do we even bother…what influence do our city councilmen have? what influence does Judy Stanton have?…..it seems the answer is none whatsoever…after decades of this, it seems we will never win this battle.

Im also curious if anyone has left their car on the street, when the film shoot doesn’t have authority to tow? has the car been vandalized by the film crew, ie. trash thrown on it, etc.?

sorry, Taraji’s character got killed off. You probably won’t be catching a glimpse.
