Mostly (apart from the R train thing) there are no planned diversions or cancellations directly affecting service at any local stations this coming weekend (Friday evening, September 13 to Monday morning, September 16), or the week after(Monday through Friday, September 16-20). But for you fans of the Brooklyn-to-Queens version of the Toonerville Trolley, a.k.a. the G train, be aware that this coming weekend, from 11:30 p.m. Friday 13 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, it will revert to its sometime guise of the “Gee, where is it?” train. Service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will operate at twenty minute intervals. If you’re going past Bedford-Nostrand, you’ll have to change to another G train there. Presumably, service between Bedford-Nostrand and the line’s northern terminus at Court Square, Queens will run on a normal (for the weekend) schedule. Also, during the weekend the G won’t be running between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue. For stations on that route, take the F from Jay Street-Metro Tech instead.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
