Just like last weekend and the following week, apart from the lack of R train service to and from Manhattan that will continue until at least October of 2014, there are no planned diversions or cancellations that directly affect service at any local stations this weekend (Friday night, August 23 to Monday morning, August 26) or the following week (Monday, August 26 through Friday, August 30). Those of you who, like me, occasionally change from the 2, 3, 4, or 5 to the A or C, or vice versa at Fulton Street (formerly Broadway-Nassau on the A/C) in lower Manhattan should know that this weekend (11:45 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday), just like last weekend, A and C trains won’t be stopping at Fulton in either direction. You can transfer between the A/C and the 2/3 at Chambers Street.
