    I worked in Toronto for a while and they are very serious about traffic rules applying to bike, A colleague rode her bike through a red light, (after stopping) – the fine was over 300$, After that i observed that bikers there mostly follow the rules. It should be the same here.

    Bill DiBlasio is THE WORST. After watching the debate last night I don’t know how anybody could vote for him. He is one of these LOONEY uber-liberals who thinks he can run a
    city by creating a dividing line and trying to invent that there are purposefully haves and have-nots based on city policies. That is NOT TRUE and taxing more people does not make life better for underprivileged. Hilarious. Really, really LOL funny. The only thing his policies would do is harm small businesses, have people set up tax shelters, discourage hiring, and gather funds to pay for programs that will help the cronies that funded his campaign. I am surprised to say that I think a good race will be between Quinn and Lhota.

    Ah, the “Hurts small business” argument. The reality is, the GOP destroyed the small businesses of this country by removing many limitations on large corporations. The small guy simply cannot compete against them.

    I’m not against any of those. You only have a one track mind. SUNY makes no money — they are allowed to close it. There are MANY MANY MANY MANY health facilities and other hospitals close by. The library is a craphole. It is discusting. Bums pee in the stairway. It is neglected. A new condo there, which will bring more traffic to CPW and house a brand new smaller and more managable library is by far the better choice. As for the school, enrollment goes up and down. We dont need more. There are schools in DUMBO and DOwntown Brooklyn. It’s not the end of the world.

    Also not a “little thing” when a pile of dog sh*t gets covered by a leaf and someone steps on it and slips and falls (IN IT), as I did a few weeks ago. Being 7.5 months pregnant, I was very lucky that I didn’t slip the wrong way and hurt my baby. An elderly person or someone with limited mobility could have seriously hurt themselves or broken a hip. Still a “little thing”?
