Massage Envy Spa On Remsen Really, Truly Open For Biz

It’s almost comical to report that Massage Envy Spa at 147 Remsen Street opened for business over the last month, considering that it has been “Opening Soon” for more than a year via its window signage. In September, paper came off the windows and the interior showed signs of life… but it was yet another false start.

The Brooklyn Heights location’s website is also up & running, with more info on the national chain’s overall webbie. (Photos: CT)

I had a great massage at the Massage Envy in Westport, CT it was a reasonable price a well run establishment welcome to brooklyn Heights!

  • Jorale-man

    But did it end…happily, Gerry?

@ Jorale-man – No way it was a legit theraputic massage no sex at Massage Envy.

Get you mind out of the gutter!

I visited 3 times and they have been fully booked with clients. Once I get an appointment I’ll be sure to report. Apparently, the $59 price has attracted many customers. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

    Rub-a-dub, dub, dub. Free Wifi?

Had a massage there Sunday morning… noticed the “walk-ins welcome” sign on the door but had a hard time getting an appointment. Great massage, I’ll definitely be back. The only thing is they try to upsell you to their wellness package – a monthly fee if you’re so inclined to get a monthly massage. Would love to but can’t really justify that!

Its all good until they send the collection agencies after you! Just search Massage Envy complaints and you will find a treasure trove of complaints against this company. They are notorious for underpaying their therapists and sending collection agencies to clients and ruining your credit. (even if they are told by a doctor, no Massage) Do your research before going to a massage franchise.

I’ll never understand paying strangers to touch you.

So Willowtowncop, did your doctor, dentist, chiropractor, etc start of as strangers or friend? In NY Massage Therapists are considered part of the Medical Profession. Even more reason to stay away from franchises, they are not generally owned and operated by other therapists.
