According to Notify NYC, a billboard has been blown down near the Metropolitan Avenue exit on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, blocking traffic on the westbound (i.e. those approaching the Heights from the north and east) lanes of the highway. Emergency crews are on the scene; we’ll keep you posted.
Update: NY1 has a video. Update-update: Gothamist says the billboard was “illegal”; as of this (Saturday) morning, one lane of the BQE was still closed.
