Reminder: Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation Meeting Monday at Noon (12/5)

No word yet on whether the 7 hotel/housing schemes proposed for Brooklyn Bridge Park with be on the BBPC’s meeting Monday (12/5) afternoon but it would be totally bananas if it wasn’t on the agenda.

The meeting is open to the public and while they may or may not be taking questions, if you’re a fan/not a fan of those proposals or other issues regarding the park it’s a good idea to show up.

The meeting will be held at “approximately” 12:00 PM, at the Corporation’s offices at 334 Furman Street (at Joralemon Street).

Read more about the hotel/housing proposals here.

Here’s the “anticipated” agenda in PDF form. (Thanks Matt Parker for the link)

The Corporation posted the “anticipated” meeting agenda on the Park’s Website last week: http://bit.ly/snKvm4.

There’s no mention of the hotel/housing development on the “anticipated” agenda.

I wish that the new BBP had a state of the art Aquatics Center like Asphalt Green on E 92nd Street and East End Ave now that the indoor soccer field plan has been stopped I wish we had a pool.

A 15 foot deep 50 meter long pool is what we need in downtown Brooklyn.
